Wildcard certificates secure an unlimited number of sub-domains under the main domain.

For example a wildcard certificate issued to *.servertastic.com would secure sub.servertastic.com
sub2.servertastic.com
sub3.servertastic.com
.....
sub999.servertastic.com.

As a bonus it will also secure servertastic.com*

Wildcard certificates are ideal if you want to secure multiple sub-domains under a single certificate. Many also support unlimited servers. We provide both DV and OV wildcard certificates. (EV wildcards are not currently available).

When ordering a wildcard certificate the CSR generated should be for *.example.com
